Meet Laura...
A born and raised "Saratogian" this NY Bred Filly was immersed in a world of thoroughbred breeding and racing before she could talk. It all began with snuggles and learning to ride on the backstretch under the watchful eye of her family horse trainer; quickly followed by a fascination with pedigree analysis, behavioral traits, and the physical composition of the equine athlete. With the guidance of mentors like Hall of Fame Trainers John Nerud and Jonathan Sheppard she became a student of Fredrico Tesio, developing a European approach to thoroughbred breeding and racing.
After working for NYTB, NYTHA, and NYRA in high school and college, Laura dove into business development, project management, social media planning, client relationship management, public relations and more throughout various industries before launching as a consultant. She is currently "The Morning Show" host seasonally for NYRA at Saratoga and enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for thoroughbreds on and off the track.
